Owner/ Physiotherapist

Ashley Ross, MScPT, BScKin

Ashley Ross, MScPT, BScHK is the owner and physiotherapist at Inspire Physio. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics from Laurentian University and a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Queen’s University.

Ashley is rostered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario to perform acupuncture/dry needling and internal pelvic health examinations. She is a member of the Women’s Health Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and the Ontario Physiotherapy Association.

Ashley’s passion for pelvic health physiotherapy developed after the birth of her first child, when she recognized the significant gap in support and education available to women during the postpartum period. Motivated to make a difference, she pursued extensive post-graduate training in pelvic health to better serve women in her community. She is dedicated to helping women feel comfortable discussing concerns that are often overlooked or considered taboo, including incontinence, pelvic pain, prolapse, and postpartum recovery.

Through education, movement, and evidence-based treatment, Ashley strives to challenge the common misconception that women must simply accept pelvic floor symptoms as a normal part of having children, menstruation, or aging. She believes that many of these concerns can be effectively treated, allowing women to regain confidence and return to the activities they enjoy.

Outside of the clinic, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. As a family, they love hiking, exploring the outdoors, and creating new adventures together. Ashley has a passion for travel and has explored destinations both within Canada and abroad. In 2011–2012, she taught English in Thailand and completed a trek to Everest Base Camp. She looks forward to continuing her travel adventures and returning to backcountry camping with her young family.

Physiotherapist

Brittany Quenneville, MScPT, BScKin

Brittany Quenneville has taken an interest in pelvic floor physiotherapy since having a placement in this area while at Western University for her Master of Science in Physical Therapy degree. She found this a very interesting and under serviced area of physiotherapy to work within. As well, she has dealt with her own issues related to pelvic floor through ulcerative colitis and knows how much an improvement in pelvic health can drastically change your quality of life. For Brittany, it is important for people to know that pelvic floor dysfunctions, while they can be common, are not normal to have and are quite treatable through pelvic physiotherapy.

Brittany graduated from Laurentian University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Western University with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. She is in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, while also being rostered to perform pelvic internal exams, dry needling, acupuncture, and some spinal/joint manipulations. She is also a member of the Ontario Physiotherapy Association and Canadian Physiotherapy Association in the Women’s Health Division.

Outside of work, Brittany enjoys many outdoor activities with her partner including camping, hiking and rock climbing. She also plays competitive volleyball in Sudbury.

Nisha Bhatia, BPT

Nisha Bhatia is a Registered Physiotherapist is in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and rostered to perform acupuncture/dry needling and internal pelvic health examinations.

After graduating from Gujarat University in 2022, Nisha began her career in physiotherapy, gaining diverse clinical experience treating neurological, musculoskeletal, and geriatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. These early experiences deepened her understanding of the connection between movement, function, and quality of life while inspiring her passion for providing individualized, compassionate care.

Over time, Nisha developed a strong interest in pelvic health physiotherapy. She was drawn to this field by the often overlooked and deeply personal challenges faced by individuals living with pelvic floor dysfunction. She is committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where patients feel comfortable discussing sensitive concerns and know they are genuinely heard.

Nisha works with individuals experiencing pelvic pain, bladder and bowel dysfunction, pregnancy-related and postpartum concerns, and other pelvic floor conditions. Her treatment approach combines patient education, individualized exercise programs, and hands-on-therapy to help patients regain confidence, improve function, and return to the activities that matter most to them.

She believes that no one should have to simply “live with” pelvic health concerns. Through evidence-based care, she strives to reduce the stigma surrounding pelvic floor conditions while empowering patients to better understand their bodies and actively participate in their recovery.

Outside the clinic, Nisha enjoys hiking, cooking, spending time outdoors, and playing with her dog. These activities help her maintain balance and well-being, qualities she brings into every patient interaction through kindness, patience, and genuine compassion.
